Case-study presentations from NTNM conference now online
Conference about independent cultural centres and governance models gathered more than 70 participants from over 15 countries.
On January 28th-30th, Pekarna (Maribor, Slovenia) organized the international conference New Times, New Models (NTNM) in partnership with TEH. The conference gathered more than 70 participants from over 15 countries for discussions about independent cultural centres and their development with regard to governance models and relationships with the state.
Pekarna is currently working on a final version of guidelines and principles of good governance that were discussed during conference break-out groups. The guidelines will be published on the conference website in the next update. The conference, that was opened by the Minister of Culture Mrs Majda Širca, included case study-presentations, panel debates and a keynote speech by Mr Phil Wood (Comedia, UK).
